AOIS - support for SEND pupils in primary and secondary education |
 |
|
AOIS provide specialist support to pupils identified as having SEND
- Support for pupils with special needs, where learning difficulty is the primary need
- Support for pupils where ASD is the primary need with or without learning difficulty
- Available for children in primary and secondary school settings, aged 4 to 18
- Support for learning and engagement
Options include:
- Generalised - general queries regarding SEND pupils, support for your staff (including support with OAP) - Free of charge
- Individualised - for individual pupils who require a bespoke approach - Free of charge
- Some services such as specialist training for Makaton or Manual Handling or longer-term direct interventions may be charged for. If this is the case we will contact you to discuss the options

Foundry College - support for pupils with SEMH difficulties in primary and secondary |

|
Support is available for children in primary and secondary school settings, aged 5 to 16
- Support mainstream schools to identify and meet the needs of pupils, with or without diagnosis, who have SEMH difficulties including EBSA
- Provide specialist advice, strategies and interventions with the aim of developing social and emotional resilience
- Whole school support in the form of surgeries and training
- Primary and secondary outreach alternative provision
Options include:
- Generalised - requests for all queries not specific to an individual pupil's progress - fees may be applicable, please refer to Foundry's brochure.
- Individualised – for individual pupils or groups of pupils, who need bespoke support - fees may be applicable, please refer to Foundry's brochure.

The Grove - support with Speech, Language and Communication needs from nursery to secondary |

Provides outreach support from The Grove Speech and Language Resource
- Provides staff training for classroom strategies for children with SLCN
- Supports staff working with pupils with speech and/or language difficulties
- Supports pupils with special needs where speech, language or communication is the primary need
- Available for children in primary and secondary settings, including school nurseries aged 3-18
Options include:
- Generalised - encompassing general queries not specific to an individual pupil's progress - Free of charge
- Individualised - bespoke support for staff working with a named pupil - Free of charge
- Direct work with the pupil is available through specialist support. This can be accessed on the recommendation of The Grove Outreach Teacher following individualised support (working with staff around a referred pupil). Specialist support is chargeable and costs will be discussed and agreed before any application progresses.
